ForecastBlack Friday 2026
Likely a big drop
- A big UK cut in its very first Black Friday
- The newer Watch9 sharpens the pressure on last year's range
Should you wait for Black Friday?
Yes. A year older with a newer Galaxy Watch in shops, it should match or beat last year. It stays Samsung's only rotating-bezel watch, so stock won't vanish.
The cheaper picks: what they really did
The percentages are real Black Friday 2025 cuts, as reported that week. The right column is our 2026 forecast.
Samsung Galaxy Watch8
Out since 2025
−34%US figureLikely a big drop
The same watch inside, minus the spinning bezel.
Google Pixel Watch 4
Out since 2025
−14%US figureLikely a big drop
Wear OS with a domed screen; the Pixel Watch 5 replaced it.
What this means: The plain Watch8 is the obvious saving. The Pixel Watch 4 is the non-Samsung choice.
Questions people ask

It is rated 5ATM and IP68, so swimming and showers are fine.
What phone do I need for the Watch8 Classic?
An Android phone. It doesn't work with iPhones.
How we reached this
Last year's cuts are the ones named outlets reported during Black Friday week 2025, against the regular price they quoted. The forecast is our reading of each model's age, its successors and last year's cuts. We never show prices. Where no outlet reported a cut in this country, we show the same model's cut reported in another country, marked with that country.
We haven't tested these products ourselves. Our picks weigh independent expert reviews against each maker's published specs and the prices we checked. Opinions are ours; facts link to where they come from. How we choose.
