ForecastBlack Friday 2026
Likely a big drop
- Last year's UK cut beat both cheaper speakers here
- Out since 2025, so 2026 is only its second Black Friday, and JBL already discounted it hard
Should you wait for Black Friday?
Yes. A launch-year cut this deep suggests JBL will discount it hard again. Paying full price in early November looks like a poor bet.
The cheaper picks: what they really did
The percentages are real Black Friday 2025 cuts, as reported that week. The right column is our 2026 forecast.
Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4

−33%Likely a big drop
Floats, and lost a third last year. A smaller sound.
JBL Clip 5
Out since 2024
−34%Likely a big drop
Clips onto a bag. Cut about as deeply as the Wonderboom.
What this means: Last year all three lost a third or more in the UK. The Flip 7 is the toughest, with an IP68 rating.
