Will the Sonos Roam 2 drop on Black Friday 2026?
A modest cut last year. Expect Sonos to repeat it, give or take.
HappenedBlack Friday 2025
Just over a fifth off, reported on 1 December.
ForecastBlack Friday 2026
Likely a moderate drop
- Last year the Sonos fell less than the Flip 7 or the Pill
- The Pill, out the same year, fell a third: Sonos chose a smaller cut
Should you wait for Black Friday?
Yes, if it's a gift. Last year's saving was worth having, though smaller than on the JBL and Beats. Don't expect it to fall as far as they did.
The cheaper picks: what they really did
The percentages are real Black Friday 2025 cuts, as reported that week. The right column is our 2026 forecast.
JBL Flip 7
Out since 2025
−27%Likely a moderate drop
Tough IP68 build and a longer battery. No Wi-Fi.
Beats Pill
Out since 2024
−33%Likely a big drop
Fell a third last year. Up to 24 hours per charge.
Bose SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen)
Out since 2024
−20%Likely a moderate drop
A similar small cut to the Roam 2. Deep bass, adjustable EQ.
What this means: Last year Beats cut deepest here. The Roam 2 is the only one that also joins a Sonos system over Wi-Fi.

Questions people ask
How much will the Sonos Roam 2 drop on Black Friday?
We expect a cut close to last year's 22%. That would be a moderate saving, not a clear-out.
Does the Sonos Roam 2 work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. It plays over Bluetooth anywhere and joins your Sonos speakers over Wi-Fi at home. Reviewers liked its new Bluetooth button.
How long does the Roam 2 last on a charge?
About 10 hours, which reviewers call short. The Flip 7 claims up to 16 and the Pill up to 24.
