ForecastBlack Friday 2026
Likely a big drop
- Last year it fell 41% while it was still LG's newest flagship
- The G6 went on sale in March 2026, so stores are clearing G5 stock
Should you wait for Black Friday?
Yes. It fell hard last year while still current, and now it's the old model. If you find it near last year's Black Friday level earlier, that's already a good price.

Questions people ask
How much was the LG G5 on Black Friday 2025?
Best Buy sold the 65-inch for about 41% less than usual; the deal was reported on 21 November 2025.
Has the LG G6 replaced the G5?
Yes. LG put the G6 on sale in March 2026 at the G5's old launch price, which leaves the G5 as last year's model and a likely clear-out deal.
LG G5 or LG C5?
The G5 is noticeably brighter, which helps with HDR and daytime viewing. The C5 has the same deep blacks and gaming features, and last year it was discounted even more heavily.
