The CH730N weighs about 90 g less and folds, and Sony rates it at 50 hours. Tom's Guide found the battery claim held over a week of use and the quiet good on trains and in cafés. What Hi-Fi heard a muffled sound until the Clear preset, and TechRadar called the headband plasticky.
The Space 2 copies the Momentum's long battery and plush comfort for a lot less. Expert Reviews found it very comfortable and good at cutting low rumble, less so voices. Tom's Guide liked the bass-forward sound over LDAC, while What Hi-Fi rated it bland and flat.
The ULT Wear folds into a hard case, which the Momentum 4 doesn't. What Hi-Fi scored its comfort and features top marks but called the bass forceful. TechRadar found it balanced only with the ULT bass at level one and the Bright EQ, and its noise canceling below flagship level.
Final recommendation: For a light, cheap commuter pair, the Sony WH-CH730N is hard to beat once you switch on the Clear EQ. The Soundcore Space 2 suits Android users who want LDAC and soft pads. The Sony ULT Wear is for bass fans who need a fold-up case. Stay with the Momentum 4 if sound and battery matter most and you don't need them to fold.

Sennheiser claims up to 60 hours with noise canceling on. SoundGuys measured about 56 hours, far beyond the 30 or so of most flagships, which is why most alternatives here fall a little short.
No. The ear cups swivel flat to fit the carry case, but the headband doesn't fold. Both Sony pairs here fold, and the ULT Wear comes with a hard case.
Yes. What Hi-Fi rated its calls excellent, and TechRadar found them good too. The Momentum 4 is weaker on calls in noisy places, according to SoundGuys.
