ForecastBlack Friday 2026
Likely a moderate drop
- The Era 100, out the same year, got a similar cut: Sonos priced both the same way
- Three years on sale and still no deep cut, so a sudden crash looks unlikely
Should you wait for Black Friday?
Wait if you can. A fifth off the Era 300 is a meaningful saving, and Sonos ran its sale early last year. Don't hold out for half off.
The cheaper picks: what they really did
The percentages are real Black Friday 2025 cuts, as reported that week. The right column is our 2026 forecast.

Same Sonos system, stereo instead of Atmos. Similar cut.
Sonos Roam 2

Questions people ask
Does the Sonos Era 300 support Dolby Atmos music?
Yes. Reviewers found its spatial sound immense with Atmos tracks, though Atmos music is still limited.
Era 300 or Era 100 on Black Friday?
The Era 300 adds Dolby Atmos height effects and deeper bass. Both fell by a similar share last year, so the gap stays roughly the same.
Can the Era 300 connect by cable?
Only with an adapter, which reviewers flagged as a niggle. It also has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
